Hope Replaces Hardship

There is a time in everyone’s life, at least once where you feel like all the walls are closing in on you. I know this happened to me on several occasions and I would ask, “Why is this happening? Why do I have to go through so much hardship? Did I do something wrong?” The questions would be never ending. I would read books to try and find the answer. I would sit in meditation and ask the Masters. It took a long time, but I finally got my answer.

I knew, from the deep core of my being that there is a reason for all the hardship. I knew that this knowing comes as a response to my questions. The response was that it is not all in vain. There are great lessons to be learned and growth to be had. I also understood the importance of Divine Timing.

A very dear friend of mine was given a beautiful explanation in one of her readings by Goddess Hecate on hardship and hope.  She has graciously offered to share it with us.

May you feel the peace that comes from understanding and compassion and experience the joy in your hearts when hardship is replaced with hope.

Hope Replaces Hardship

Goddess Hecate channeled January 21, 2009

My Child of Light, I am your very own Mother, Hecate.

Change will come in ways you do not expect. Ask that your expectations be released so when things come, you see them for the opportunities that they are presenting and not through the filter of boxed expectations. I love you with all of my heart. I stand by your side. I illumine your path. I walk before you.

The hardship has a reason. Mother Mary has said to some, “I do not offer you a bed of roses. In this world, in this lifetime, your reward is not here. Your reward is in the other realms.” I say to you, before this life ends, you will feel rewarded and it has to turn around now. The process will be gradual, but the shift is imminent. When you look back at this life, in time to come, you will even appreciate the fact that the process was gradual. With what you will do with your life and with all the resources that will be placed in your hands, you will always remember the days of hardship and those who suffer and you will have compassion. So my suggestion to you to free yourself from any further hardship is to keep saying,

“Teach me compassion and free me from hardship. Let me remember. Let me hold the memory of hardship without having to go through it anymore. Let me not forget the times in need and those in need and the fears and worries that come with neediness. Help me see it and feel it and let me be complete. Let the compassion be so ingrained within the warp and weft of my being that I don’t need to constantly exercise it in order to experience it and know it. Let the knowing come from within me from a higher perspective by opening myself to your Light. Over-light me with your motherly compassion and free me from the experience of hardship. Let me serve you in abundance and let me serve others by sharing my abundance. This I ask of you in return for all that I have done for humankind and in service to Light and all that I do to embody your Divine Mission.”

I will stand by your side. I will walk by your side. I will illuminate your path.

I am your very own Mother, Hecate.

So it is.
